Yes, he is. The U.S. Government is keeping pressure on offshore gambling not realizing they will not be able to stop it but simply push the whole industry towards gray and uncontrollable areas whereas they are supporting Lotteries. These lotteries are usually targeted towards lowest classes and give players ridiculous chances of winning ( 1 out of 14 million ).

So we have a stupidity climax here : online gamblers ( usually middle class, educated ) who have 50% chances to win are been chased and punished through undue pressure on the offshore business whereas lottery players ( Lower classes, little or no education ) are being legally shaved with little or no chance to win .

Uncle Sam knows that its easier to control less educated people, who will hardly complain about the fact that the Government is backing this legalized scam called lottery.

Is there any kind of fairness in all this ? Is selling an almost unreachable dream legitimate ?

I call this hypocrisy.

My two cents....

The lotteries fill the Governments pockets while the offshore industry is not. Uncle Sam always wants is share and if he can't have it he will find a way to shut you down.

"UNCLE SAM IS AN HYPOCRITE "

Truer words have never been spoken my friend.
I can't understand this new-found "patriotism" ... this America as we know it IS NOT ANYTHING like the founding fathers envisioned ....

... afterall, wasn't the reason for the revolution to free ourselves from unfair taxes and laws??? NOT TO have rich little pussies "legistlate" MORE

When it comes to Governments, it is rarely fairness displayed. It is do for those who may be able to do for me.
